Angela “Big Ang” Raiola aired on The Dr.Oz Show just days before her unexpected death this week. Host of the show, Mehmet Oz, says he feels she didnt know death would be coming so quickly for the much loved Mob Wives star.
Mehmet Oz, whose interview with the late television personality Angela “Big Ang” Raiola aired days before her death this week, says the cancer-stricken celebrity didn’t seem to know death would come so quickly.
Speaking with Extra after Big Ang’s death Thursday, the host of The Dr. Oz Show said the Mob Wives star didn’t know “it was going to be so soon, but I think Big Ang was scared.”
“She didn’t want anybody to forget the anguish on her face when she acknowledge that cigarettes killed her, stripped her life from her, that she lost decades that she could have spent with people she loved,” Oz said. “I think that’s the number one thing that needs to get out about her legacy.”
Later, Oz recounted the Jan. 29 Big Ang — interview which aired Tuesday — to People, saying “She was scared. Which is always a sign that…people know more about their bodies than any test will tell you.”
“What the patient tells you is more accurate than what you can guess,” he explained. “She had been beaten down over the last year.”
“YOU, (Her fans) were some of the most special people in her world, and she loved you immensely.” via upi.com
